The screen showed C:\CIV, and It wouldn't accept any input, so I was left with a useless DOS screen. For me, the game kept reverting to a DOS screen before It was fully loaded. I had problems at first and If you are having them too, this may help.
Works perfectly well when I play online through my PC.
